I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the beautiful collaboration between @DC - from the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and myself in creating a truly special farewell gift for Peter, who was retiring from IE&M. This project was a perfect blend of creativity, teamwork, and heartfelt sentiment.

From the initial idea to the final product, it was amazing to see how easy & pleasant it was to work with David, collaborating seamlessly together to design something meaningful and unique. Peter's team put so much thought into capturing the essence of his time here (his Mining knowledge, his work for Sustainability, his love of handcrafted materials, his sense of humor) to choose the right design, and the 3D printing lab brought it to life with incredible craftsmanship. David even edited our 3D files 😃 

The end result is a tangible, lasting memory that will surely remind Peter of the positive impact he made during his 14 years at 3DS.

It was a wonderful example of how collaboration can turn a simple idea into something deeply personal and memorable. The entire process was smooth, enjoyable, and filled with creativity, and the final gift is a true testament to the power of working together towards a shared goal.

The gift was sent to Peter so he could open it from home, but he wanted to open it on camera to show us his genuine reaction and it was lovely to see him so moved, happy & grateful!
