3DEXPERIENCE World 2026

3DEXPERIENCE World: The Lab and Startup programs brings a lot of innovations and unite makers!

This year at 3DEXPERIENCE World, startups and makers are front and center, with first-time reveals, breakthrough technologies, and hands-on innovation throughout the event.

🦖 The Dino just left the Lab! In the past few months leading up to the 3DEXPERIENCE World, our passionate colleagues, makers and mentors of the Lab using SOLIDWORKS x-Apps, our web-based solutions, fabricated and assembled a large dinosaur. The beautiful creature was waiting in our Boston Fablab all this while for its turn to be lifted up and taken to Houston!!

But it did not ready to leave the Lab when the D-Day came!!!

Startups, Makers, and Innovation at 3DEXPERIENCE World:

This year at 3DEXPERIENCE World, startups and makers are front and center, with first-time reveals, breakthrough technologies, and hands-on innovation throughout the event.

At the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab booth, we’ll unveil the virtual 3DEXPERIENCE Lab for the first time, showcasing how the Lab supports startups building the future.

Powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, our virtual lab enables open innovation, rapid prototyping, and global collaboration to accelerate breakthrough ideas that have the potential to transform society.

The best part of the Virtual 3DEXPERIENCE Lab is that you one can experience it using Apple Vision Pro or with one's mobile device using an Augmented reality app. We will showcase these scenarios together to the attendees and get their feedback.

The Blue or the Red pills ? Both programs will be represented at World, to help startups that strongly impact, the Blue; or all hardware startups the Red.

💥Open Tesla community launch and promotion, a new open community project, building on the success of Open Codex with Leonardo da Vinci  : Reconstructing Tesla patents and inventions in 3D Virtual twin, obviously with a lot of electromagnetic simulation!

  • 👉It you are passionate about engineering and science, about Tesla (and not Elon Musk company…but the science) you are welcome to contribute and work with many people already enrolled in this project, simply create an idea with your project , inspired from his patents and works. Everyone is welcome. You will find a selection at the end of the post to inspire you !

  • The best projects will be exhibited during the next World Expo 2027 / Universal Exhibition in 2027, you may become famous, as many people were during the Leonardo DaVinci Open Codex project, their name in a movie !

The Startup Zone highlights an exciting group of companies:

Lab booth will feature BIOMOTUM, a Lab startup bringing its wearable robotic exoskeleton designed to assist and retrain human gait for people with mobility impairments. Biomotum’s products have a direct and measurable impact on the health and well-being of individuals who experience impaired mobility. Improved walking speed and reduced energy needed to walk can translate to better overall health and productivity. Given that the overall lifetime cost of a chronic condition like cerebral palsy, which significantly reduces an individual’s mobility, can be over \\\$1 million , the impact is significant.

SOLIDWORKS FOR STARTUPS PROGRAM

The Startup Zone highlights an exciting group of companies:

•  SoloSuits (USA): A lightweight, highly safe spacesuit designed by Nik Moiseev, one of the world’s top spacesuit designers.

•  Tusk (India): The world’s first self-cleansing toothbrush.

Tusk Oral Care (also styled as TÜSK) is a design-driven oral hygiene brand that focuses on making everyday dental care simpler, more effective, and more enjoyable through thoughtful product design. It was founded in India and builds products that blend innovation with practicality rather than just stacking bells and whistles.

Maglev Aero: A SOLIDWORKS for Startups member, MagLev Aero is designing a breakthrough propulsion platform that uses magnetic levitation (maglev) principles to power aircraft rotors. Instead of a conventional central shaft and bearings, their system suspends and drives the rotor blades magnetically, reducing friction, noise, and mechanical complexity. They are bringing this prototype to Houston.

💥 Announcement MagLev Aero joining the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab program for acceleration !

•  Elemental Advanced Materials, from our partner accelerator - Greentown Labs, designs next-generation materials using advanced chemistry and computational materials science, with strong interest in BIOVIA. They are transforming waste plastics, gases, and other carbon containing materials into high-performance graphene at commercial scale.Their patented technology utilizes a continuous, single-step, CO2e neutral process to generate graphene and sustainably produced hydrogen.

On the main stage on Day Two, we’ll hear from Psyonic, creators of the world’s first touch-sensing bionic hand, and Westwood Robotics, showcasing their humanoid robots Themis and Bruce.

PSYONIC is a bionics technology company that develops advanced prosthetic limbs, especially highly capable bionic hands designed to restore natural hand function and sensation for people with limb loss — as well as to power robots with advanced gripping and feedback capabilities.

Westwood Robotics is an American robotics company that specializes in designing and building advanced humanoid robots and robotic actuation technology — with applications in research, industry, and education. The company creates dynamic, general-purpose humanoid robots capable of human-like movement and manipulation. Its notable platforms include:

  • THEMIS – a full-size humanoid robot designed for real-world tasks, agility, balance, and precise manipulation.
  • BRUCE – a kid-size humanoid robot open platform used for research and education, supporting robotics development and experimentation around the world.

The event also features a hands-on Maker Zone
