3D printing stamps to paint pixel art

Part of a bigger project that @CO and I are working on will showcase a bit of painted pixel art. It'll have a retro video game theme, so we'll need to paint a series of cherries like this. 

To make the task repeatable we modeled and 3D printed these simple stamps - one for each color.

We applied a thin layer of acrylic paint to the stamp and then used a straightedge to help align it on our practice paper. Acrylic paint dries pretty quickly, so we could get all three colors down and see the fruits of our labor (pun intended)!
