The Surpac and MineSched 2020.1 Releases are now available, and I thought I would share a few details about the release.
The first major change to both products is the introduction of the Dassault Systemes Licensing System (DSLS). The new licensing system has the following benefits:
- Ability to map to up to 3 licensing servers to act as a Failover cluster. If one server fails, the system will immediately transition to the next server.
- Ability to take network server licenses offline. This allows for greater flexibility when needing to continue work off site, or in the pit.

The second topic I would like to cover, is the completion of the Production Progress Tracking workflow. MineSched 2020 introduced Development and Production Progress Tracking for underground scenarios, and we have now provided production tracking tools for surface scenarios.
When the Polygons or Bench Polygons mining method is selected, individual blasts can be selected and updated prior to the schedule being run. This will improve the experience of using MineSched at operating mine sites.
