You may need to calculate the volume of your stock at the end of month.

Geovia Surpac is able to calculate the volume for you.

The below image show the stock of which we want to know the volume and the floor

Before to process for volume calculation, it is important to determine a boundary (contour) of the stock whose want to calculate the volume.

The string number of the toe or external contour of this stock is 2. Save it

File →Save → string/DTM

Click on Apply

Drag the boundary on the screen to see if there is no anomaly.

Everything is ok then process to volume calculation.

To calculate the volume, go to Surface →Volumes → Net volume between DTMs

It will open this dialog box then click on Apply

In the next dialog box, put the name of the report, in this case, it is volume stock.

Un check Save results to new boundary string file (otherwise it will repeat the same boundary).

Click on Apply

In the next dialog box, click again on Apply

In the next, click on Apply

Finally, the volume in Csv file where the volume is 107 594 Bcm
