We are thrilled to introduce the new Pit Optimizer role, available with the 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x release, on cloud (MIOPP-OC) and on-premise (MIOPP).

The Pit Optimizer is a platform-based Strategic Mine Planning tool used by mining engineers to generate pit and pushback optimizations as well as schedules for surface mines. It allows a user to define solutions that maximize the Net Present Value (NPV) to the company, and to evaluate optionality in multiple optimized pushback and scheduling  scenarios, thus improving the robustness of solution.
