Presenter Bio:
Ralph joined Dassault Systèmes 6 years ago, motivated by the ambition to transform mining, building sustainability and circular economies by applying our industry solutions. Ralphs has extensive experience in the Energy & Materials industry over 25 years. He commenced his career working in underground operations on the west coast of Tasmania. He was involved in the first wave of transformation with the adoption of computer systems in the 1990s. After spending a little less than a decade in technology moved into consulting supporting companies across the globe but primarily in Asia to develop and evaluate projects. He then recognized the mining sector was facing significant challenges; operating the same way we had for the past 30 years was unsustainable. The opportunity to join Dassault Systèmes presented itself, and he saw their success in transformation in other industries.
