Why for any reason does moving an item in one project moves its instance in another project?

I had a project before that was the first version of a plant layout, let's call that Layout 1 or "old layout". However, I have decided to change the layout and create another version of the plant (Layout 2 or "new layout"), leaving with two projects for two different versions.

In order to create a new layout more efficiently, I copied some items from Layout 1 to Layout 2. At first, this seemed innocent. However, while moving items in Layout 2, I realized the items from Layout 1 were also moving. Besides, Items from the old layout were also being deleted after being deleted in the new layout.

The old layout also had robots with Tag Points and Tasks. One of the major issues were that, after copying a robot from Layout 1 to 2, I cannot see the robot tasks anymore in the Behavior tab in Robot Simulation in Layout 1. Although I can still run the tasks in the Sequencing tab in that project.

I have recorded my screen moving an item between projects as an example.

I would like to know if there is an option to unlink a copied item from its original item. If not, do you guys think this feature is helpful in any case? In my honest opinion, this is a poor software design in 3DExperience.

Let me know if there are any questions about this problem. Thank you in advance for any help.
