Using the OPC UA protocol to collect information from a robot

I have a question about getting signals from a robot using the OPC UA protocol.

We looked at the video (https://r1132100503382-eu1-3dswym.3dexperience.3ds.com/community/swym:prd:R1132100503382:community:48?content=swym:prd:R1132100503382:communitypost:1BK45jFyRnOK_SZEV2E7TQ ) and set up our demo but when we got to the part for connecting to OPC UA we have a problem. Now if we wanted to get signals from the robot we would have to have an OPC server installed on the robot or somewhere else (PC).

If we wanted to connect to an OPC UA server that we have installed on one computer, we would not receive any signals from the server to map them with the robot signals.

What exactly needs to be entered in the fields below?

- Access to the OPC UA server



- NO signals received from the server.



- How do I check if the connection to the server is successful?

- What authentication is used here to connect to the OPC UA server?

If anyone has any instructions or an example of how to set this up, please share it so we can check if this functionality works.
