Transport Materials with a Conveyor Defined as a Tool Equipment | Help me!!

(I must say that I am quite new to DELMIA, I would appreciate your patience. I might not know how to do some things in Robot Simulation or understand specific terms. Thank you!)

I have a conveyor in my cell. However, it was defined as a tool equipment by a previous employee, not as a conveyor. I then used a workaround by creating an imaginary Physical Product at the beginning of the conveyor. With this Physical Product, I used the Define Kinematics feature from Equipment Design to define a prismatic joint between the Physical Product and the structure so that the Physical Product can move horizontally. 

 

 


After that, I created four mechanical ports at the beginning of the conveyor defined as Workpiece Mount Port type.

These ports would operate as Grabbing Ports for four Simulation Sensors that I will use on the Robot Simulation app. This is an image showing only one of the Simulation Sensors as an example.


Consequently, after defining a task to the conveyor, it should grab any piece at the beginning of the belt, and move it elsewhere. However, this behavior is not working.
 

 

The simulation operates as it could not identify the parts at the beginning of the conveyor belt. Am I doing something wrong? (except for the fact that I am using a conveyor defined as tool equipment, lol).
