If you use hotkeys, you can manipulate viewpoints more easily when you define or review 3D layout.
Here are some useful samples for hotkeys.

Align Viewpoint : "a"

You can automatically modify the viewpoint so that the view orientation is automatically set to the nearest vertical orientation.

Depth Effect : "d"

You can achieve 3D depth effects, namely, clipping geometry between clipping planes.
In the Depth Effect dialog box, you can set the Near Limit and Far Limit by selecting the Fixed check box for each option, entering values and pressing Enter in each case.

Normal View : "n"

You can display a product Normal To a plane or planar face.
