Recently, a team of two select DELMIA experts--Dan Birkett, DELMIA Portfolio Technical Specialist, and  Alek Boskovic, America Senior Technical Sales Consultant--went to the National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) in Wichita, Kansas to conduct an intensive training session on DELMIA Robotics.

Eight people were in the week-long class filled with attendees from both NIAR as well as Textron. The curriculum highlighted DELMIA V6R2013x Robotics (DTD + ARW + ROP) and DELMIA V6R2013x Mechanical Device Building (MDB).

According to Birkett, the training went well. “The anticipation is that they will use DELMIA to offline program their new ABB robot gantry flexible manufacturing cell.”

NIAR, in partnership with Wichita State University, ALSO offer their own V5 CATIA + DELMIA training classes to the aerospace industry.
