In release R2021xFD06, new 1D, 2D, and 3D Sensors add intelligence to the simulated workcell by identifying proximity and interference of objects or people. Each Sensor can be configured for size, distance of sensing area and location.
•The Beam Sensor detects objects that contact the 1D beam.
•The 2D Plane Sensor can be created as a triangle, rectangle or circle.
•The 3D Sensor can be created as a cone, pyramid, cylinder, or sphere.
•2D and 3D sensors can be configured with different zones, to communicate the level of safety or interference.
•Sensors can read an objects attributes to add flexibility and intelligence to the robot operations.
•Sensors enhance virtual commissioning capabilities.
