New robot path optimization features

New features are now available on the R2022 FD03 release from the Robot Path Planning command  to significantly reduce robot cycle time.


  • The first optimizes the robot Axis Configuration & Turn Numbers for a given robot task in order to minimize useless robot movements. The command analyzes an existing robot task and suggests the better combination of robot configuration and/or axis turn number and/or gun flip for each target. By doing so, robot movement can be greatly simplified and cycle time  reduced.
  • The second enhancement optimizes the 7th axis movement as a welding gun value opening to ensure a collision-free path. The path computation determines the minimum  opening value of the gun to jump from a spot to another, it allows to reduce the cycle time.

These 2 enhancements are available from the Robot Path Planning command available in the Robot Optimization Apps of the industry roles as RBWRT, RBWPR, RARSA & RARWI.​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​
