Ever since Dassault Systemes launched the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in release 2014x several weeks ago, there have been many discussions surrounding this platform and how it changes the way we do business.  (WE meaning those of us that share responsibilities across an enterprise to bring it’s products to market.) In season 2 of The Robot Whisperers (www.therobotwhisperers.com) , Mike and I describe this 3DEXPERIENCE platform as “a wise new world to explore” and explain how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform can benefit corporations large and small. Many of the discussions are from people in the Robotics community, asking how does this platform affect the way I work?

The subject of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is too vast to address to all audiences, so this community offers the opportunity to limit the scope of the discussion to a selected group of people that would use the platform and benefit from the characteristics and features that it offers.

So to introduce this “wise new world to explore”, I am launching a new series of blogs right here in the Robotics community called 60 Seconds to Experience. This series will give valuable insights into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, as well as provide tips and tricks for utilizing the tools and navigating the interface. I hope that this will encourage you to perpetuate the discussion and ask plenty of questions. This is YOUR community, so take advantage of it!
