Have you ever seen this robot in action?

Some years back (2006) Kuka introduced a new lightweight robot, the LBR3.
This robot has 6 axis as all other "Standard Robots" and one more axis build in.

The newer version, LBR4, was then used for a pilot project at Daimler (check here: DAIMLER Untertürkheim).
End of last year, we started to build the model in V5, but we did not have a request from a customer then.
Also, as soon as the LBR4 was modeled, Kuka asked for the LBR5.........
This week finaly we got a request from our customer Daimler for the LBR4!
Actually we do not have more information on the projects, but as soon as we get more information, it will be posted.

The model we have is build in D5 with user shared library kinematic, actually build for D5/V5 R19SP8 intel_a.
Next delivery also includes a win_b64 version.
