In a complex 3D environment, it is very useful to make sections at the TCP frame including the tool, it is a common activity for spot welding to quickly check if there is no collision between the gun arms and the environment during the spot welding activity.

for a long time, DELMIA has provided this sectioning functionality in the Tool analysis apps with the  "Generate Sections" command but recently we have added this capability directly from the teach panel to improve the  efficiency of the Robotics engineer.

A short video will demonstrate the main capabilities of this enhancement.

This capability is obviously available for all DELMIA Robotics roles, it can be also useful for arc welding for instance.
