Within DELMIA the combination of point cloud and 3D SOLIDWORKS data was combined to quickly construct a Virtual Twin of an existing factory. From that Virtual Twin a reconfiguration of the shop floor layout was done to analyze movement of equipment to accommodate automation. Finally a detailed factory flow analysis was done to evaluate multiple what-if scenarios enabling the customer to make business decisions with confidence.
