We have just released a highly expected feature to improve collaboration between OEM’s and suppliers by supporting a bi-directional exchange of resource data between different software levels.
The typical use case is an OEM working on premise (on r2020x; r2021x or 2022x) and its supplier working on the cloud (currently r2023xFD02). The OEM was able to send the data to its supplier, but it was not possible for the supplier to render the completed workcell via 3DXML due the problem importing the data from a higher version.
This issue is now solved by introducing 2 new features to export and import all robotic information not included in a 3DXML with compatibility mode.
Information supported in the export/import project: Simulation state, kinematics, attachment, robot tasks, resource controller. Logics will come soon.
