Issue Management within Process Engineering Native Apps

Use case

During Process Engineering definition, any manufacturing engineer might identify some issue that needs to be logged in the system to track its resolution and collaborate with all necessary stake-holders.

This issue might be of various kind (unclear information or invalid attribute value, detected accessibility  / visibility / safety issue, process duration / workload issue, process sequence issue, work instructions content problem...) but requires some similar capabilities to capture it such as associating relevant items, providing some short description, some annotated snapshot, assigning the right users.

Functionality description

We do know provide a simple solution to log such kind of issue within the 3DExperience Platform, by relying on the ENOVIA Issue solution.

The user is able to create an Issue from any Process Engineering native application with a web in win user interface, perform a 2D snapshot of the current session and annotate it, associate any kind of Manufacturing object (Manufacturing Items, General System, Workplan, Operations, Work Instructions items, Resources...) as Context, Reported Against or Resolved By category.*

This functionality has been introduced starting from 20xFD01 and 21xGA.

Value

Resolve as fast as possible any detected issue during Process Engineering definition phase by leveraging the strategic Issue model to log and describe the problem and collaborate efficiently with all relevant stake holders.

Indeed all collaborative tasks around the issue, such as monitoring, transfer ownership, review content) can be performed within the web user interface (dashboard with ENOVIA Issue widget) without requesting to load anything in the native client.
