Vancouver-based CadMakers, Inc. sought to accelerate the building of Brock Commons – Tallwood House, the world’s largest hybrid mass-timber building. The 18-story Tallwood House was built in 9.5 weeks – approximately 70% faster than traditional concrete buildings of the same size – enabled by innovative use of virtual design and construction (VDC) and digital manufacturing processes through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud
