In the first post, I introduced what a Recipe is briefly.

From now on, I will go through how to define and manage a recipe in APRISO. 

First, let's revisit how ISA-88's Recipe Model can be compatible with BOM-based production. And we want to take a look at what is managed in Apriso.

In ERP, a general recipe and a master recipe are defined according to company, plant, and product. And an operation recipe and a control recipe are managed based on this in actual operation.

This is similar to managing the process and BOM in the ERP(MDM) and executing it in the manufacturing based on it. 

APRISO can define and manage the recipe like the below.

Based on Master Data/Recipe information defined in ERP, a process is defined on Apriso Process Builder. And by creating BOM and SOP(Standard Operating Procedures) through Apriso Desktop Client, we make the operation recipe. Explosion for ERP Batch proceeds with the standard information created in this way.

When Batch creation information is received from ERP, 'Batch Explosion' is performed based on the information set so far.

Actual manufacturing execution is interfaced with equipment through MI (Machine Integrator). In addition, the control information of the field is also interfaced through the MI. 

In the next session, I will take a look at the recipe implemented on the actual Apriso screen.
