This is the second part of the series of narrated videos (5 in total) for the CLIR scenario. After the introduction video, from this video, we go into live software demonstration.

Here, we are at the second video of the five videos:

  • Introduction (10 minutes)
  • Part 1 – Report Problem & Determine Issue Domain  (16 minutes)
  • Part 2 – Analyze Issue & Take Action (36 minutes)
  • Part 3 – Prepare for Issue Resolution (8 minutes)
  • Part 4 – Issue Resolution & Close-Out (12 minutes)

The demo is divided into 4 parts. In Part 1 - Report Problem & Determine Issue Domain, shop floor operator found issue during assembly work. So the operator report the problem to production and quality supervisor.  Supervisor and operator check the issue and have some discussion with each other. They determine it is an issue requires engineering change. So the supervisor creates an new issue in Apriso issue management cockpit and sends it to 3DExperience platform by utilizing standard interface between DELMIA Apriso and 3DExperience platform.

A new ENOVIA issue is created automatically based on information from Apriso. In Part 2 of the demo, it will be used by engineer to manage change action necessary for a countermeasure.

In the same time, due to this issue, the remaining work cannot be proceeded on the shop floor. So we need to to make some adjustments to manufacturing order schedule and resource assignment. The planner uses DELMIA ORTEMS to adjust the order schedule automatically to utilize the idled resources efficiently. ERP system is also used to coordinate the order data communication between Apriso and ORTEMS.
