Hello
In this time, I would like to take a look at sequencing through APRISO.
First of all, I would like to see how the Object Model is structured and how to handle it.
The data model is composed of information for sequence management. It provides to define a sequence queue and specify the order of items to be processed. In addition, it includes the management of sequence scheduling according to the record and pattern of each item's status or post-processing history.
Table | Description |
SEQUENCE_QUEUE_DEFINITION | Describes the properties of a set of Sequence Queues |
SEQUENCE_QUEUE | A sequenced queue of items to be processed |
SEQUENCE_QUEUE_ITEM_GROUP | Groups items in a Sequence Queue |
SEQUENCE_QUEUE_ITEM | An item in a Sequence Queue |
TRANSACTION_HISTORY_SEQUENCE_Q | Records the history of items dequeued from the Sequence Queues |
SEQUENCE_SCHEDULE | Sequence Schedule used to plan Sequences by repeating a pattern a number of times |
SEQUENCE_SCHEDULE_DETAIL | One item in the repeatable pattern of a Sequence Schedule |
And it will manipulate these objects through Business Components.
Business Components | Description |
Maintenance BCs | Create and update Sequence Queues and all dependent objects |
Transactional BCs | Enqueue, dequeue and peek items in a Sequence Queue |
Exception BCs | Insert, delete, re-sequence the queue, resize groups, etc |
Users can manage sequencing through the Sequencing Maintenance & Monitoring screens.
| Screen | Description |
| Maintenance screens for Sequence Queue objects | creating and updating Sequence Queue information and related master data |
| Items browser screen for a supervisor | shows all of the items in the Sequence selected |
| Re-sequence browser for planners | change the selected Sequence, moving, adding, or removing items from the Sequence |
| Sequence Planning screen | create production Sequences based on the daily demand from an ERP or APS (validates the sequence that the user creates against user-definable and extendable business rules) |
Additionally, how will the initial Sequence Planning be created? APRISO JIS includes a function to create a production sequence based on ERP or APS Data. In the Sequence Planning screen, Sequencing that can satisfy Production Demand in an appropriate time frame is created.
In conclusion, APRISO JIS has the following characteristics.
FEATURES
• Interface sequenced orders from ERP, APS
• Communicate sequence information to suppliers
• Overwrite sequences manually, as needed
• Achieve real-time visibility and control of order status across all sequenced operations
• Direct work instructions for all shop floor workers through receiving, manufacturing, and shipping
• Accomplish reverse racking, reverse loading, and other periodic sequencing reversals automatically
The following benefits can be obtained through the establishment of APRISO JIS
BENEFITS
• Eliminates idle raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory buffers to increase cash flow
• Reduces floor space and cycle times to optimize plant efficiency and improve return on assets
• Synchronizes internal manufacturing operations with external suppliers and customers to maximize On-Time Delivery (OTD), achieve critical customer KPIs, and avoid costly penalties
• Become demand driven by building to order to increase customer satisfaction and accelerate accounts receivable collections
• Improves overall product and process quality within highly complex manufacturing environments
• Supports greater product customization while simplifying production processes for improved customer satisfaction
Thank you.
