From this, I'd like to post what is APRISO Dispatching Board and how to use it effectively.

First of all, I would like to take a look at the production plan and scheduling.

As you already know, production planning refers to planning the type, quantity, price, production method, location, period, etc. of a product before starting production. In ISA-95, production plans and schedules are located across ERP and production execution domains.

It can be divided into long-term (usually 1-3 years), medium-term (quarterly or monthly), and short-term plans (weekly or Days) depending on the time period.

A long-term plan (S&OP) can be viewed as a plan from the perspective of the company's strategy in the future, such as when a new product is launched, a plan for company-wide capacity, and supply chain management in terms of SCM.

And the medium-term plan(Master Planning) aims to establish an optimized production plan on a monthly or quarterly basis based on demand and current production capacity .

Finally, the short-term plan(Operational Scheduling) is to maximize output by optimizing work and workloads in production process to achieve target.

DELMIA also supports it on QUINTIQ, ORTEMS.

However, the problem is that numerous issues and events arise in the shop floor - urgent schedule changing, unplanned equipment shutdown, inventory shortage, and so on.  

It is quite difficult to proceed with production according to the existing schedule. Even so, waiting for a rescheduling can make the situation even worse. As a result, production supervisor should react quickly before their higher-level systems to avoid line shutdowns or delays.
