Attaching and Detaching Objects to Manikin

Users can attach objects to manikins so that there is a one-way relationship between a manikin segment and one or more objects in its environment.

Once attached, this object is linked to the manikin segment and will move with the segment when posturing the manikin.

When attaching objects to a manikin, it is helpful to display the manikin segment for more attachment possibilities.

Attaching an object to a segment is a one way relationship. The object will follow the segment if the segment is moved. The segment will not follow the object if it is moved independently in the work area.

For equipment that will be permanently attached to the manikin such as the helmet, safety glasses or belt, it is preferable to store that object under the Manikin node in the tree rather than the product.

This allows the manikin and attached objects to be saved as a single human object which makes it easier to import it into different scenarios.
