Simplifying the Complexity of Work

I often like to highlight TED talks as they can provide huge insights into complex problems in manageable chunks of time. This one by Yves Morieux was recommended to me and I think it's a perfect analysis of the challenges faced by companies that struggle to break out of organizational silos.

I strongly believe that planning functions, whether at the supply chain or facility level, are exactly these sorts of silos that depend so much on the "cooperation" of other functions and the ability to develop a single connected organization with a common goal and plan.
