Merry Christmas and Happy Modeling

Thank you for all in 2023, Merry Christmas

for the modelers interested. I was happily surprised by the 2024xGA demo of @ES and @RK with the ChatGPT and Python script....they are my inspiration.

So I tried myself because it was several months in my mind and could not find a way to do it...

here is the logic for a future post about Gray-Scott and my experience of Python + 3dxml model.

logic

  1. Torus
  2. Mesher
  3. Dual mesh - to get the hexagons (almost everywhere)
  4. Neighboursbyradius (beta) - to get the points for laplacian (wow)
  5. Python Script for GrayScott - with support of ChatGPT (but not as easy as the demo...)
    1. why Python, because of speed: it was taking hours without, now within a few of minutes for 5000 to 6000 loops and with Chat GPT help, I can get the base script or structure of script at least.
    2. I completely underestimated the time to find the "sweet spot" (set of parameters to get an acceptable effect) - this is tough to me. still tough.
  6. Assembly Design for the 3 donuts
  7. Live Rendering for the light materials (not yet Raytracing)

just hoping it shows merry christmas and thank you
