This is amazing new integration sample of flexible web based UI. Based on highly configurable ALM web based solution - Tuleap. Solution is for non-modeler to capture business data and automatically transition it to world wide recognized standard of the model in OMG UAF. Solution is covering UAF strategy, operational, resources model generation including elements, relations and diagrams.
Overview
This demonstration explores a lightweight approach for capturing business and engineering information from stakeholders who may not work directly in modeling tools (e.g. CATIA Magic)
Tuleap is an all-in-one ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) platform that covers the entire software lifecycle, from requirements to agile project management, testing, DevOps, and documentation. In a typical project, Tuleap trackers might manage bugs, stories, epics, etc…
For this demonstration, I configured a dedicated Tuleap UAF project with the following:
Trackers corresponds to UAF element types (e.g. Capability, Driver, Challenge, etc…)
Artifacts represent individual UAF elements
Artifact links represent relationships between model elements (e.g. MotivatedBy, PresentedBy, Generalization, etc…)
The example UAF Tuleap project can be reused as a template for other new Tuleap projects. A project created from this template receives the base Tracker structure and views. Custom artifact links must be configured in the new Tuleap project before importing the template.
A custom plugin retrieves information from the Tuleap project and transforms it into native UAF elements, relationships, and diagrams in CATIA MAGIC. The current implementation supports a one-way flow from Tuleap into CATIA Magic.
Solution Context:
Tuleap: ALM Platform where users can contribute and connect artifacts in their project
Tuleap Data Helper: Retrieves Tuleap project data and normalizes the data for the plugin
UAF Tuleap JPM Plugin: Transforms the Tuleap project data into UAF elements
CATIA Magic: Contains the model where UAF elements are created

Tuleap Schema - Metamodel Customization Flexibility
Tuleap’s configurable tracker framework allows the project schema to be adapted for different modeling needs. Project administrators can configure:
- New tracker types representing additional model-element types
- Custom fields representing element properties
- Artifact-link types representing relationships between elements
For automatic import into CATIA Magic, any new types, properties, or relationships must also have corresponding mappings in the integration/plugin.
Demonstration Data:
The demonstration data is adapted from the Enterprise Transformation Planning with UAF case study presented at the 2025 INCOSE International Symposium. The paper describes the UAF approach for planning the enterprise's transition from hybrid transportation to fully electric bus operations.2
