This demonstration shows how to utilize and connect both the Collaborative Designer for CATIA Magic and Collaborative Design for SOLIDWORKS apps on the 3DExperience platform in the context of Digital Thread.
Power'By is a method to integrate standalone applications data as native to 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Both SysML and CAD models can be managed and packaged with other engineering artifacts within 3DEXPERIENCE, by using both Power’By for CATIA MAGIC and Power’by for SOLIDWORKS. This helps establish the overall digital thread from system architecture to design, and generates a fully integrated MBSE ecosystem. In addition, after incorporating both your SysML models and CAD Designs onto the 3DX platform, you will also have access to other PLM services that are already built, like the VRP Test and Validation role, and the DPM Project Management roles, which further builds on one’s MBSE Ecosystem.
