Last week, on the 12th and 13th of December, we had the privilege of attending and presenting at the prestigious CSD&M 2024 (Complex System Design and Management) Conference in Paris.

The conference, a leading event in systems architecture and engineering, brought together experts and professionals from across the globe to exchange ideas, explore innovative solutions, and address the challenges shaping the field. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with and learn from many inspiring individuals passionate about systems engineering.

This year, we were proud to participate as sponsors and maintain a strong presence throughout the event. Our dedicated booth, featuring a variety of insightful content, became a hub for engaging discussions and interactions with attendees. The team— @TM, @SL, @HA, @HM, @WB, @AM, and @AP actively contributed to sharing insights on the implementation of SysML V2 in CATIA Magic, the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and the broader adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.

A standout moment of the event was the keynote speech delivered by @OS, titled "Generative Systems for Software-Intensive Experiences—State of the Art & Next Challenges." His thought-provoking presentation highlighted the growing importance of MBSE across industries, emphasizing its critical role in integrating electrical, electronics, safety, and cybersecurity domains to deliver smarter, safer, and software-intensive products.

The most discussed topics at this year’s conference included SysML V2, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the future of MBSE, reflecting the rapidly evolving landscape of systems engineering.

I had the pleasure and opportunity to deliver the presentation on Requirements-In-Loop Simulation with CATIA Stimulus, where I showcased how requirements simulation can significantly enhance requirement verification and enable early system validation.
