I want a field that I can import a text string into and use to filter the requirements by owning system. I am wanting to show the field as a column in a Requirements Table that can be used to filter the requirements later on.  I have looked thru the documentation, and I don't find any clear explanation for what the pre-existing column types are designed for.  For instance, the Owner column is really used for nesting and not necessarily an owning system.  There is a Source column, but I don't clearly understand what it is used for.  This may be what I need, but I would like to know more about it before attempting to use it a manner not designed for.  I am trying to stay away from creating a new Requirement Type.
