Abstract
In this talk, we are reporting our experiences with the implementation of a cloud native Quarkus service replacing Cheshire using the BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot Chemistry Java SDK. The new service supports the normalization and validation of chemical structures based on the chemistry business rules defined within Roche and provides other functions like the calculation of the molweights and molformulas of the related parent structures. With this major update of the registration system, the service is ready to continue working for another decade.
