Background
When you install a new Pipeline Pilot server version in parallel to an existing installation of an earlier version, the installer provides you with the option to install the new server into a new location but copy over existing protocols from the older installation. This option will also replicate particular settings of the older installation to the new installation, including the settings for Reverse Proxy and Load Balancing.
These particular settings for Reverse Proxy and Load Balancing however might be valid only for the older installation, for instance if the new installation is supposed to be running in parallel to the older installation and is therefore using a different set of port numbers than the older installation. As a consequence, the new installation might have issues e.g. with the login as the login gets redirected to the (mismatching) URL specified in the Reverse Proxy and Load Balancing settings of the older installation.
Solution
Please see the attached file for resolving the mismatching Reverse Proxy and Load Balancing settings in the new Pipeline Pilot installation.
