Smart Farming for Sustainable Agriculture

Agriculture is undergoing a major transformation wherein use of high throughput data science and communication technologies are being embraced to cultivate the concept of "smart farming". Smart farming and precision agriculture brings in ample opportunities for reducing the ecological footprint of farming via minimizing application of chemicals, mitigating soil erosion and nutrient leaching, and improved strategies for reducing greenhouse gases. Data driven smart farming makes agriculture profitable to farmers by decreasing resource inputs, improving crop management and in turn maximizing productivity. In this talk we will discuss Dassault Systemes sustainability commitment and show how Biovia applications offer great solutions for this important goal.
