Background

Earlier this year, Adaptive Computing announced the end of life (EOL) and end of service life (EOSL) dates for TORQUE 6.1.x. According to the announcement end of life occurs when the software version is no longer patched or tested by Adaptive Computing Engineering. End of service life occurs when the software version is no longer supported by Adaptive Computing Support and Services.

The significant dates are:

1. - The end of life (EOL) date of TORQUE 6.1.x is October 31, 2021.

2. - The end of service life (EOSL) date of TORQUE 6.1.x is April 30, 2022.  

Resolution                                                                         

In line with these changes, BIOVIA would like to clarify the support for the TORQUE 6.1.x queuing system for BIOVIA Materials Studio on CentOS and Red Hat servers:

1.- Deployments of the 2019, 2020, and 2021 releases of BIOVIA Materials Studio using TORQUE 6.1.x will no longer be supported after April 30, 2022.

2.- BIOVIA Materials Studio versions released after October 31, 2021 will not support deployments using TORQUE 6.1.x.
