I am happy to announce the forthcoming publication of the paper describing in great detail the technology and the range of applications. The paper https://aip.scitation.org/doi/full/10.1063/1.5143190 is an open access, and appears in The Journal of Chemical Physics as a Featured Article. There is a section on DFTB+ in Materials Studio written by our own Martin Persson. We hope that this publication will rekindle interest in fast nearly-DFT calculations.
