One available feature in Discovery Studio are the Example Protocols. These protocols add functionality to Discovery Studio and they range from Simulation tools, Macromolecule tools to Pharmacophore. Some examples are Simulated Annealing, and Calculate Binding Energies with MM-PBSA, amongst others. 

To take advantage of these protocols you need to make the Protocols Explorer visible by navigating to View > Explorers and toggling on "Protocols".
