Background

The RCSB changed their search API from version v1 to v2 on April 13, 2022 and stopped supporting the v1 search API on July 13, 2022. Therefore, running the RCSB Structure Search protocol available in Discovery Studio 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 will result in the warning ‘No hits found’ in the Report.htm and in the Jobs Explorer’s Details column.

Solution

The attached protocol can be installed in Discovery Studio from the Protocols Explorer. First unzip the attachment, then right-click over the folder you want to add the protocol to, choose Import, navigate to the location of the RCSB Structure Search_V2.ppxml file and enter it as the File Name. Then use this protocol in place of the version released with the software.
