Server status indicator levels

There is an indicator next to the Discovery Studio server connection, showing the resource level status of the server. This provides general metrics related to the server, including the load levels, CPU and memory usage. The load is expressed in terms of CPU usage (current and recent measurements) and memory usage (physical and swap).

There are five server load levels (single server and cluster/grid), shown here. It may still be possible to launch a protocol when the server level is marked critical but the job may not run efficiently if it has to share resources. If the server is a Windows machine it is recommended to reboot the machine to release memory, especially if it is used to run a number of applications.
