Prediction of protein aggregation sites

The Calculate Aggregation Scores protocol predicts protein surface sites which are prone to aggregation. It is based on the spatial aggregation propensity (SAP) method to identify patches of exposed hydrophobic residues on the protein surface. The residues in these sites would be candidates as mutation targets to increase protein stability.

After running the Calculate Aggregation Scores protocol, use ViewResults to open the result in the molecule window. Then use the View Aggregation Sites tool to step through and analyze the predicted aggregation sites.

Click on Show Details of Site 1, and the Site 1 annotation box will appear in the view with a list of residues and their scores in this site.
