Last week, David Nahon, head of the immersive experience at the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and myself visited the Immersive Learning Lab together with a delegation from the CNAM so has to install the Virtual 3DEXPERIENCE Lab.​​​​​​​

The Immersive Learning Lab​​​​​​​ is place of exchange, training, collaboration and experimentation, a permanent showroom of immersive technologies. 

Nicolas Dupain - président de France Immersive Learning, Louis Dupain - technical director and Mouhamaou Ndiayev - XR Developper welcomed us in this unique infrastructure at the heart of Paris. 

The France Immersive Learning association aims at bringing together, coordinate and showcase production and usages of the ecosystem, as well as positioning itself as a trusted third party advisor for public authorities and funders, stimulating the emergence of an economic model that benefits everyone.

The mission of France Immersive Learning is to leverage immersive technologies for the benefit of all stakeholders involved in developing professional skills, as widely as possible.

It is administered by 6 majors co-founders: Orange and Natixis, Upec and Cnam, Agefiph and Défi Métiers. 

The CNAM is one of the most prestigious professional education school and research center in France, featuring the Musée des Arts et Métiers, “a store of new and useful inventions”, a museum of technological innovation.

Bertrand Cousin, Thierry Koscielniak, Christian Cousquer, Laure Estignard, Gilles Garel, Chloé Pourtier and Thierry Ledeme from the CNAM were invited to experiment the Virtual 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and start to see how to leverage it for their own education mission.
