Have you ever heard of “the largest farm in France”? This is the nickname given to the International Agricultural Fair, the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to agriculture, which takes place every year and for the 58th Edition in PARIS. Every year, the SIA welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors and nearly 4,000 animals (cattle, horses, sheep, barnyard...). 633,213 visitors came in 2019 for more than 1,000 exhibitors!

Which ones are shaping the farm of the future?
Among the 50 startups that was showcasing their innovations in AgriTech, Ÿnsect one of the French unicorn that is a new model for animal food. They transform insects into premium ingredients with high added value for animals, fish, plants and tomorrow humans.
Two of our startups were there: AgreenCulture and Futura Gaïa!
AgreenCulture presented with their robot and the ACG Box. This Box is a guiding and positioning solution.
It supervises and secures work execution and transforms human dependent machines into autonomous communicating robots.
By combining an ASIL B certified GNSS - RTK receiver, and the computing power of a computer, the AGC Box supervises and secures the execution of works, and transforms the machines to make them autonomous and communicating. It is an interface between your expertise and the machine.

Futura Gaïa Booth presented their geoponic vertical farm. As they are at the beginning of their design solution, this fair was key for them to demonstratethe advantages of vertical farming both for production but for the farmer. We were given a personalized spitch of the Tarascon type farm that can accommodate 400 cropping systems.
Lot of journalists were amazed by this disruptive innovation to avoid pesticides and that will face many issues regarding the lack of water.
