👉 Each year, more than 250,000 people worldwide are affected by glioblastoma, a highly aggressive cancer with extremely high recurrence rates, despite surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.💙 We’re proud to welcome Oncoelectronics 🇫🇷 to the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab program!
👉 Oncoelectronics , led by Alanna Harlton, is pioneering a breakthrough approach with its FloraVita device, an implantable, soft bioelectronic system that targets aggressive tumors directly at their source. Placed in the tumor cavity during surgery, it uses controlled electrical stimulation to destroy remaining cancer cells while preserving healthy tissue. By combining electroporation and electrotaxis, it both weakens cancer cells and activates the immune system, turning “cold” tumors into “hot” ones. The device also temporarily opens the blood–brain barrier, allowing treatments like chemotherapy to reach the tumor more effectively.

🏭We welcomed our partner Cylaos 🤝 to deep dive into additive manufacturing, featuring 10 cutting-edge machines from Stratasys, UltiMaker , and FormaLabs, brought to life by experts, real industrial use cases, and inspiring testimonials from NEWCLIP TECHNICS, Quadient and Withings.
💡 From insightful morning conferences to hands-on workshops on materials and generative design, the day was all about collaboration and knowledge-sharing for engineers shaping the future of design. ⚙️ We explored industrial AI, MODSIM, 3D nesting, scripting, 3D scanning, and prototyping. Seeing machines in action and 3D-printed parts across industries, including life sciences, made it even more concrete. Many inspiring innovations on display, thanks to everyone who joined, and special thanks to Olivier LUCAS and his team for the great organization!
🇺🇸 Seattle Startup Connect
It was great to see such a strong turnout from the Seattle startup community. With 75+ founders, startups, engineers, and innovators in the room, we shared both the SOLIDWORKS for Startups and 3DEXPERIENCE Lab program and how early stage teams can get involved. 🚀It was great to meet teams like H2C (H2 Clipper, Inc | H2C Safety Pipe, Inc.), accelerated by 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, and connect with incubators in the area. 🤝

Proxima Fusion, led by Francesco Sciortino and accelerated by the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, signed an MoU this morning in Munich to advance its first commercial stellarator, Stellaris. With RWE, Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik - IPP, and Freistaat Bayern onboard, this marks a major step toward a European fusion ecosystem, bringing clean power closer to reality. 🇪🇺⚡

70+ people joined our Munich meetup, co-hosted with informal. 2 inspiring insights from leaders in the hardware startup space : Michael Masnitza from ChargeX : building a hardware startup in energy wins, mistakes, lessons. Tekant Gündogan from Neuronic : from prototype to production and tackling complex challenges. Now active in 30+ cities, Hardware Meetups connect founders, engineers, and hardware leaders worldwide.
