At the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, this year, we are lucky to have a startup among us whose CEO is part of this ranking!

First of all we have Ajinkya Dhariya who is the founder and CEO of PadCare Labs.

Curious, creative, and courageous, Ajinkya is all of those things, all the time. His design thinking and user-centric approach along with a deep enthusiasm for product engineering enable him to solve everyday problems innovatively and efficiently.

Dhariya founded PadCare Labs in 2018 to solve an environmental and hygienic problem: Most of the used menstrual pads in India end up in landfills, where complete decomposition of the materials can take centuries. To alleviate the impact, Dhariya has come up with a device to recycle the used pads instead. It can disinfect and process up to 1,500 pads a day, and turn them into recyclable materials such as plastic pellets. The startup raised an undisclosed amount of funding late last year from India-based incubator Venture Center.

Ajinkya Dhariya the seed of PadCare early in his college days and persevered night and day to establish what would soon be a global revolution in menstrual hygiene management. He owes his success to the ideology of the 3-Ps - Passion, Perseverance, and Persistence.

The Government of India, Toilet Board Coalition, World Intellectual Property Organisation, UnLTD India and WSSCC have acknowledged him. He has received multiple awards for creating a social and environmental impact.

His Vision: Creating sustainable societies by enhancing hygiene standards.

His Mission: Change the way people experience hygiene in everyday life. The aim of Padcare Labs’ team: to accomplish this by exercising a Sustainable, Innovative and Product driven approach

In addition, previously, another CEO was selected in the Forbes ranking. It was Anais Barut CEO of Damae Medical.

Anaïs was 22 years old and was still in engineering school when she founded Damae Medical, a start-up that is developing an imaging solution that can detect skin cancers non-invasively, and at a very early stage.

She knew that she did not want to be employed in a traditional company and wanted to give meaning to her job. As a young business executive, she has had to fight against clichés, but is optimistic about the place given to young people in general and women engineers in particular.

It has developed a management method that gives more autonomy to its employees. According to her, young people are becoming more and more confident thanks to their mastery of new technologies.

DAMAE Medical is a French innovative start-up founded in 2014 by two engineers and a researcher from the French’s National Centre for Scientific Research.

DAMAE Medical develops deepLive™ medical device, the new best-in-class imaging system pairing penetration and cellular resolution in 3D.
