February 4th is the worldwide day of the fight against cancer.

The skin cancer is the cancer most prevalent in the world. Its late diagnosis and ability to metastasize make it prognosis poor, with 14000 patients dying from melanoma in Europe each year.

At the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, one of the startups that we are accelerating is Damae Medical.

Damae Medical has developed an innovative optical technology to visualize in detail the cellular structure of the skin. A non-invasive method that allows early detection of cancerous lesions. Thus, the startup provides assistance for earlier detection of the disease which is improving the chances of survival.
