Here is an overview of the new core capabilities of the Business innovation role Apps
delivered in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform R2018x FD04 update.

3DDashboard

• Add following features/enhancements to Webnote widget:
  • Concurrent edition (prevent erase of content previously added by another user on same app instance)
    • Please note this feature will not allow users to edit the same note at same time with other users.
    • The concurrent mechanism prevents only to erase added content from a user by another user. The mechanism blocks the note edition until the user has refreshed the view and retrieved the latest version before be able to edit it.
  • Rich Text Editor enhancements
  • UI improvement
  • Drag & Merge note
  • Drag & Duplicate note
  • Search – filter and highlight notes

3DDrive

• Automatically update an existing file when uploading a new file with a same name.
  • This behavior will be a shortcut to the “update” command.
  • This feature requires users to have “edit” rights on the file in 3DDrive

3DSearch

• 3DSearch UX enhancements:
  • Search in Side Panel.
  • This function consists in putting the 3DSearch widget in the right side panel (like the notification component). This function is available only in 3DDashboard context.
  • Search in side panel can be activated in the Search Options panel by clicking on the toggle button: Activate Search in Side Panel.

• Multi Selection of types in advanced search.
  • This function enables the user in advanced search to copy & paste of multiple values in a field and to allow multi selection of types and merge common predicates.
• Multi sort support on predefined queries.
  • This feature allows users to create custom Predefined Queries (in scope of 3DSpace datasource).
