The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform on Cloud is now upgraded to the FD04 level. The Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool is also enhanced to integrate the changes and improvements done during this upgrade.

A summary of all the changes done during this upgrade can be found below:

3DEXPERIENCE Support Policy on Windows 10:

The 3DEXPERIENCE Support Policy on Windows 10 has undergone a few changes. Windows 10 Version 2004 is now added to the list of supported OS for 3DEXPERIENCE Platform on the Cloud.

The Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool encompasses these changes and takes into consideration this new OS version.

Support Policy for Browser:

As per Program Directories, the supported version for Chrome and Microsoft Edge Chromium is the most stable current release.

Now that new stable versions for both these browsers are released, the Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool is improvised to take these newer versions into account

Cloud Level:

This upgraded version of Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool now takes the FD04 level into account as opposed to FD03 and deems it as the latest thus recommending the user to use it.

In addition to the above changes, the Installation check has also been revamped. As you might be aware, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest level of Native Apps to avail and benefit from the latest features and bug fixes. The Cloud Level sub-check under Installation check has been improvised such that the user will get a clear indication in case of upgrading to the latest Native Apps Level.

If the user does not have the latest Native Apps Installation, the tool provides a warning to the user stating that the latest installation is not present on the machine.

And if the user is working with an earlier FD level (for example, FD02), the tool will give a warning to the user specifying that the installation present is not an up to date one and it is necessary to upgrade to the latest FD which is FD04 currently.

Needless to say, the status will be a green check (OK Status) when the user is working with the latest level 3DEXPERIENCE R2021x HotFix 4.
