With a recent Cloud upgrade to level 3DEXPERIENCE R2020x GA, The Cloud Eligibility Checker has been aligned to integrate changes as per 3DEXPERIENCE R2020x GA updates along with new enhancement of Integration of prerequisite check of “PLM Collaboration services “provided by DASSAULT SYSTEMES
[1] Cloud upgrade to level 3DEXPERIENCE R2020x:
As per 3DEXPERIENCE R2020x specification, the following items have been updated.

1) Bandwidth and latency considerations:
Now the expected specifications are
- a minimum of four (4) Mb/s available bandwidth
- a maximum of three hundred and fifty (350) milliseconds round trip latency toward
Dassault Systèmes data center is now a compatible platform.
2) Windows:
Only version of Windows supported on this level is Windows 10
Windows 7 and Windows 8 are no longer supported.
3) Browser:
- 32-bit or 64-bit version of Firefox 60 ESR
- 32-bit or 64-bit version of Chrome
Please note that IE is no longer supported
4) Java:
- AdoptOpenJDK JDK 11.0.3 with OpenJ9 is a Qualified Platform
- AdoptOpenJDK JDK 11.0.x, with x>3, with OpenJ9 is a Compatible Platform
- Oracle JDK 11.0.x,with x>2, is a Compatible Platform.
[2] New Check: Integration of “PLM Collaboration Services” prerequisite check
The mandatory prerequisite check for use of “PLM Collaboration Services’ provided by DASSAULT SYSTEMES on cloud can be validated using Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool
In this version, both below PLM Collaboration services apps for related CAD Software applications are implemented:
PLM Collaboration Services for CATIA V5
PLM Collaboration Services for SOLIDWORKS
The Prerequisite checks are
- The Supported CAD Version level
- JAVA level and bitness mode
- xCAD Connector version
The Cloud Eligibility detects the installed legacy CAD software application version and validate it against the DS supported CAD version on Cloud and provide the OK/KO status accordingly.
In Similar way, for JAVA level along with bitness mode and xCAD Connector Version check.
Notice that this check is enable only when legacy CAD software application
(as of now either CATIA V5 Or SOLIDWORKS) is installed Or present on the system.
The value of such implementation is to promote such checks to our Cloud users only when necessary and to not impact the report for our Cloud users which are used to our current 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Cloud eligibility checker.
Accordingly, a clear Message displayed to the user at the top
Please note, the status computation of this check is not considered in Global Message computing.
The Global Message displayed at the top is still indicating the System readiness for Cloud solution deployment only and clear warning message shown.

The Sequence of Prerequisite checks has been re-ordered in order to highlight the most impacting checks and enhance the logic of the checks chain in context of the connection to your Cloud environment.
