The 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Eligibility Checker is a tool to automate DASSAULT Systèmes pre-requisites checks on your machine in order to optimize your 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud experience. See this previous article for earlier improvement.

With a recent Cloud upgrade to level 3DEXPERIENCE R2019x FD03, the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Eligibility Checker has been improved to integrate changes as per FD03 updates along with customer feedback we received.

Network Parameters Modification:

As per 3DEXPERIENCE R2019x FD03 Specification, there is change in Bandwidth and Latency considerations, click here to see the details pdir
Now the expected specification is a minimum of four (4) Mb/s available bandwidth and a maximum of three hundred and fifty (350) milliseconds round trip latency toward DS’s data center is now a Compatible Platform. The Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool has been updated accordingly.

New Check - Entire hardware (HW)/ Software (SW) Configuration Check:

The earlier version of the tool was certifying the individual HW and SW entities, but not the combination of detected HW and SW configurations.
Now, the new check is added to validate if the entire configuration of detected HW/SW is as per the DS certified workstations.
However, this status check is visible only in failure cases.
For example, if the combination of detected HW/SW configuration is not as  per DS certified workstations then additional row is visible with entire HW/SW configuration status.

Windows 10 professional detection is improved for the Hardware/Software check:
Now tool is able to manage all versions of Windows 10 professional.
e.g. for Laptops and Workstations as well.

Consideration of Proxy settings in the Tool is improved:
Tools is now able to run successfully in all possible cases of proxy settings e.g. for automatic configuration script (.pac) file
